Westgate is an independent, fundamental, Baptist church. Our philosophy of ministry is very simple. We want to see the lost saved and the saved growing spiritually and serving Christ. We have, A Vision for the Great Commission in View of the Great Commandment.
    Our services are centered on the preaching and teaching of God’s Word. We believe His Word is inspired and without error; therefore, it is authoritative on every subject of life and death. The Bible’s own claim is that it “cannot be broken,” John 10:35.
    Our success in ministry is dependent upon: the enabling power of the Holy Spirit of God Acts 1:8 and our commitment to remaining an equipping church Ephesians 4:11-13, an evangelistic church Matthew 28:18-20, a caring and loving church John 13:34-35, a disciplined church Matthew 18:11-20, a warm and friendly church Proverbs 18:24, an impartial church James 2:1-13, and a working church James 2:14-26.
